VIbrational spectroscopy of molecules adsorbed on cold surfaces using high-resolution electron energy loss
spectroscopy (HREELS) and infrared reflection absorption spectroscopy (IRAS). The experiments of IRAS are
performed at the surface science station of the infrared beamline BL43IR of SPring-8.
Spectroscopy and morphology of nanometer structure created on the surfaces of various material by the
irradiation of highly charged ions (HCI). The HCI are produced by an electron beam ion trap (EBIT) at Institute
of Laser Science of University of Electro-communications (ILS-UEC). The analysis is performed at Kansai Advanced
Research Center of Communications Research Laboratory and ILS-UEC.
