Research Description
My main research interests lie in the study of strongly correlated electron systems. Examples include cuprate superconductors whose high Tc and various novel properties are considered to be due to electron correlation effects. I am attacking this problem using field theoretical methods and numerical works. I am also studying the proximity effect between superconductors and magnets. The interface states in these systems are quite interesting, because coexistence of superconductivity and magnetism may change the transport properties significantly.
